Meet other reading enthusiasts in the library's book club
Last Monday, the library's book club for students gathered again for coffee and discussions of their impressions of the book Educated by Tara Westover.
The book, which is an autobiography, is about Tara Westover's upbringing in a family that has chosen to live completely isolated from society. It is about love, loyalty and self-realization and was appreciated by all participants in this book club meeting.
Next book club meeting
The book club will meet again 24 January, 2022 at 17:00 in the library. We will discuss the book Eleanor Oliphant is Completely Fine by Gail Honeyman. The book is about Eleanor, who lives a very structured life where she works, eats the same lunch every day and spends the weekends with two bottles of vodka and a frozen pizza. One day, she runs into Raymond and together with him she helps an elderly man who has collapsed on the street. The event is a starting point that makes Eleanor look at her life with new eyes.
Does the book seem interesting? In that case, you are most welcome to join the book club! Please let us know that you want to join, and see you in January:
