Jönköping University has internal guidelines for the use of generative AI on the web.

Editors are encouraged to always comply with applicable laws and to ensure that content from AI services is accurate.

When producing AI images, illustrations, or other visual material, it must be stated that the image has been generated using an AI service (e.g., "This image was AI-generated using tool X").

When using AI to refine or translate text, the page responsible must ensure that the text is accurate and that the facts are correct. If AI is used to a greater extent, such as AI-generated summaries or similar, this must be stated in a footnote.

AI tools must not compromise the data protection or privacy of staff, students, or other persons (whom JU handles in accordance with the GDPR).
