MMTC Thesis Award Winners 2020
The Media, Management and Transformation Centre (MMTC) is proud to announce the winners of the MMTC Thesis Award 2020.
The annual MMTC thesis award competition has once again received several excellent submissions responding to the call for masters thesis on digitalization, sustainability and internationalization which included novel research questions and profound empirical results.
The judging panel at MMTC have now carefully selected 8 co-authors and 4 theses as the winning theses. The winners have been awarded a monetary prize (scholarship), a certificate, and the opportunity to develop their study into a publishable journal article together with one of MMTC’s scholars.
A blog based on each of the winning thesis will be shared on the JU platform Vertikals.se and the MMTC web-page in coming weeks.

Kristina Baumgartner & Rita Stefanuto have been awarded SEK 10 000 for their winning thesis entitled : Giving People Wings to Fly Through Entrepreneurship: A Single Case Study of a Hub Organization in Nigeria
John Carlbäck & Alex Wong have been awarded SEK 10 000 for their thesis entitled: Incorporating Supply Chain Agility: An Investigation of Digital Technologies and Integration in the Manufacturing Industry
Amanda Person & Elin Pedersen have been awarded SEK 5 000 for their thesis entitled: Do the Swedish Female Consumers Walk Their Talk? A qualitative study exploring the Intention-Behavior gap in sustainable secondhand fashion consumption l Innovation.
Alexandra Kantonenko & Therése Karlström have been awarded SEK 5 000 for their thesis entitled: The effect of Digital Tools on Auditors’ Professional Scepticism: A Quantitative Study of Professional Scepticism in the Swedish Audit Profession
